Conferencias de zona y actividades navideñas - diciembre 2019

Para las conferencias de la zona en diciembre, la Hermana Mora se enfocó en la importancia de seguir el espíritu. El presidente Mora revisó las enseñanzas del élder Walker y el élder Bednar y discutió los puntos que mencionaron para convertirse en un misionero exitoso

El mensaje de Pte Mora (Pres. Mora´s message) diciembre 2019

Anda conmigo

En las escrituras encontramos muchas invitaciones que nuestro Señor Jesucristo hizo, a algunos les dijo ven sígueme, a otros les dijo ve y no peques más, en todos los casos sus invitaciones fueron directas y poderosas, algunas las hizo mientras caminó por esta tierra y otras las hizo desde los cielos. Al entender que las escrituras están escritas para nosotros y que debemos aplicar sus principios, entonces estas invitaciones también están hechas para nosotros, no importa el tiempo, no importa el lugar, ni siquiera el idioma, cada invitación que el Salvador ha hecho también es para cada uno de nosotros. Recuerdo en especial una invitación que le hizo a Enoc, la cual me ha hecho meditar muchas veces, está en Moisés 6:34. He aquí, mi Espíritu reposa sobre ti; por consiguiente, justificaré todas tus palabras; y las montañas huirán de tu presencia, y los ríos se desviarán de su cauce; y tú permanecerás en mí, y yo en ti; por tanto, anda conmigo.

Qué especial la invitación que el Señor hace al final: anda conmigo, Él no solo quiere que lo sigamos sino también que andemos a su lado, Él no solo quiere ser nuestro guía sino también nuestro compañero. Andar con Él significa estar en armonía con las enseñanzas de Dios y vivir como Dios desea que viva Su pueblo, ser receptivo y obediente a la inspiración del Espíritu Santo. Esto significa que debemos estar muy atentos a la inspiración que viene del Espíritu Santo y estar dispuestos a seguirla, ese es el medio que el Señor utiliza para formarnos a su propia manera y es lo que debemos hacer para poder andar con Él.

La inspiración puede venir de muchas formas, por sueños, palabras, sentimientos, pensamientos, recuerdos y otras más, la inspiración es personalizada porque llega de acuerdo con lo que cada uno necesita y tiene la capacidad de hacer, debemos escribir esa inspiración en un lugar adecuado donde demostremos a Dios el valor que tiene, también debemos agradecerla ya que el Señor espera que reconozcamos que viene de Él, pero lo más importante es que debemos seguirla para poder aprovecharla y para que el Señor nos dé más. Al seguirla seremos guiados a un plano mayor y la mano del Todopoderoso nos transformará, recuerden que lo que el Señor espera de nosotros es que seamos agentes y actuemos por nosotros mismos tomando la decisión de andar con Él.

Walk With Me

In the scriptures we find many invitations that our Lord Jesus Christ made. To some he said come follow me, to others he said go and sin no more, in all cases his invitations were direct and powerful. Some he made while he walked through this land and others He made from heaven. By understanding that the scriptures are written for us and that we must apply their principles, then these invitations are also made for us, no matter the time, no matter the place, not even the language, every invitation that the Savior has made is also for each one of us. I especially remember an invitation he gave to Enoch, which has made me meditate many times, is in Moses 6:34. "Behold, my Spirit is upon you; wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me."

What a special invitation the Lord makes at the end. He walks with me, He not only wants us to follow him but also that we walk by his side; He not only wants to be our guide but also our partner. Walking with Him means being in harmony with the teachings of God and living as God wants His people to live, to be receptive and obedient to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This means that we must be very attentive to the inspiration that comes from the Holy Spirit and be willing to follow it; this is the means the Lord uses to form us in his own way and that is what we must do to be able to walk with Him.

Inspiration can come in many forms, in dreams, words, feelings, thoughts, memories and other ways. The inspiration is personalized because it comes according to what each one needs and has the ability to do. We must write that inspiration in one special place to show God the value that His inspiration has for us, we must also thank Him since the Lord expects us to recognize that it comes from Him but the most important thing is that we must follow it in order to take advantage of it and for the Lord to give us more. By following His inspiration, we will be guided to a greater level and the Almighty's hand will transform us. Remember that what the Lord expects of us is that we be agents and act for ourselves to make the decision to walk with Him.

In December we bid good bye to this group of our faithful missionaries who honorably served the Lord in Honduras. We remember them with fondness and wish them the best of luck in this new state of their life. Adios!
