Actuar con fe 

Mis queridos misioneros es normal que pasen cosas que no entendamos y que nos surjan preguntas o incluso dudas, ante estas preguntas el Señor ha definido un modelo que podemos utilizar para encontrar respuestas por nosotros mismos, preguntarnos por qué pasan las cosas no es malo, de hecho, el Señor ha prometido que su influencia nos expandirá la mente y aumentará nuestro entendimiento si nuestra búsqueda de la verdad en honesta. Este modelo es de tres pasos: 

1.Actuar con fe 

Actuamos con fe cuando decidimos confiar en Dios y acudir a Él primeramente a través de la oración sincera, el estudio de Sus enseñanzas y la obediencia a Sus mandamientos. Puede ser que no entendamos todo, pero si confiamos en Él, poco a poco nos irá revelando todas las cosas. Élder Jeffrey R. Holland enseñó: “Cuando lleguen esos momentos y surjan los problemas y la resolución de esos problemas no sea inmediata, aférrense al conocimiento que ya tienen y manténgase firmes hasta que reciban más conocimiento.” Ustedes ya tienen un conocimiento muy fuerte de Cristo, Su expiación y Su evangelio, entonces el actuar con fe es una forma de decir: no lo entiendo aun, pero seguiré a delante Señor. 

2.Analizar los conceptos y las preguntas con una perspectiva eterna 

Toda pregunta o situación debemos analizarla desde una perspectiva eterna, debemos considerarlas dentro del contexto del Plan de Salvación y de las enseñanzas del Salvador. Tratamos de buscar ayuda del Espíritu Santo para ver las cosas como el Señor las ve, no nos centramos en estos puntos de manera individual, sino que los vemos dentro un gran todo, así como al ver una pintura no contamos cada raya, mancha o pincelada, sino que la vemos como una obra terminada. Cada experiencia que ustedes viven es solo una pincelada en el gran lienzo de su propia vida que el Maestro está pintando, un día verán esta obra terminada y podrán decir al igual que Él una vez dijo: “Es hermosa y bella.” 

3.Procurar una mayor comprensión mediante las fuentes divinamente señaladas 

En el proceso de obtener conocimiento espiritual el Señor ha establecido las fuentes por las que Él revela las cosas, como el Espíritu Santo, las Escrituras, los líderes de la iglesia y nuestros profetas vivientes, es por medio de estas fuentes que encontraremos luz y guía ante nuestras preguntas, otras fuentes que no cumplen con esta condición nos pueden confundir o incluso desviar del camino correcto, al volvernos a las fuentes divinamente designadas por el Señor podremos ser bendecidos al recibir un aumento de nuestro entendimiento y nuestra fe. En ellas no solo encontrarán conocimiento, sino que también recibirán la paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, recibirán una recarga de energía y fuerza que los hará avanzar hacia un futuro brillante, solo dejen que su poder los llene y los guíe.

 Act with faith

My dear missionaries, it is normal that things happen that we do not understand and that questions or even doubts arise. Concerning these questions, the Lord has defined a model that we can use to find answers for ourselves.  Asking ourselves why things happen is not bad; in fact, the Lord has promised that His influence will expand our minds and increase our understanding if our search for truth is honest. This model is three steps:

1. Act with faith

We act with faith when we decide to trust God and turn to Him first through sincere prayer, the study of His teachings and obedience to His commandments. We may not understand everything, but if we trust Him, he will gradually reveal all things to us. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught: "When those moments come and issues surface, the resolution of which is not immediately forthcoming, hold fast to what you already know and stand strong until additional knowledge comes."  You already have a very strong knowledge of Christ, His Atonement and His gospel, so acting with faith is a way of saying: I don't understand it yet, but I will continue ahead, Lord.

2. Analyze concepts and questions with an eternal perspective

Every question or situation must be analyzed from an eternal perspective, we must consider them within the context of the Plan of Salvation and the teachings of the Savior. We try to seek help from the Holy Spirit to see things as the Lord sees them, we do not focus on these points individually, but we see them inside a great whole, just as when we see a painting we do not count every line, stain or brushstroke , but we see it as a finished work. Each experience that you live is just a brushstroke on the great canvas of your own life that the Master is painting, one day you will see this finished work and you can say just as He once said: "It is beautiful."

3. Seek greater understanding through divinely appointed sources

In the process of obtaining spiritual knowledge, the Lord has established the sources by which He reveals things, such as the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures, church leaders and our living prophets, it is through these sources that we will find light and guidance. In the face of our questions, other sources that do not meet this condition can confuse us or even deviate from the right path.  By turning to the sources divinely designated by the Lord we can be blessed by receiving an increase in our understanding and our faith. In them you will not only find knowledge, but you will also receive the peace that surpasses all understanding, you will receive a recharge of energy and strength that will make you move towards a bright future, just let your power fill and guide you.
